Southern Campaigns of the American Revolution Roundtable Our Revolutionary War Roundtable is an informal gathering of professional and amateur researchers interested in sharing and helping others on topics in the era of the American Revolution. We are not a dinner - lecture format club; most attendees make a short presentation on their current projects and shares their finds with the group. We move our quarterly meeting places around the South, often on invitation to meet at historic sites. The public is invited to some of our meetings each year depending on the available facilities. June 26, 2010 – Charleston, SC – Southern Campaigns Roundtable was held at the beautiful Old Exchange Building (http://www.oldexchange.com). Our hosts were Mike Coker and Doug MacIntyre. Remember our Round Table is a participatory sport; bring your research interest, questions, show and tell, for no-more than a 10 minute presentation. Doug MacIntyre is working on interpretative signage for a new Revolutionary War park on Sullivan’s Island at Breach Inlet and is anxious to show us his research and get help and suggestions from our fellows. If you are interested in joining us or hosting a meeting, please contact roundtable coordinators Charles B. Baxley, David P. Reuwer or Mike Scoggins. [Updated June 27, 2010.] Go back... |
